Your legal obligations

There is a duty of care and legal obligation to have legionella risk assessments on ALL work premises.

It is a requirement under Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) to assess the risk from biological hazards which include potentially deadly legionella bacteria.

This report determines what follow up control measures are needed to prevent possible outbreaks and prosecution.
